Is this Clarence the son of Elmer and Ella OR Alex and Julia? Edit suggestions are for Alex and Julia.
Both posted newsclippings (Sep 8 and Sep 30) indicate Elmer and Ella McPhail as his parents.
Also note: Elmer's obit does not have any mention of a son named Clarence, BUT only survivors are mentioned. Clarence would have passed before Elmer.
-----
Sep 8th newsclipping states burial in Four Mile Cemetery.
Sep 30th newsclipping states burial in Greenwood Cemetery. [Gravestone in Greenwood.]
-----
1st married Anna Luginsland 1911
2nd married Fay Pritchard 1919
1 dau Ruth
Survived by wife, daughter, father, mother, 4 sisters, 2 brothers. Preceded by 2 sisters and 1 brother.

This bio edit suggestion accepted June 2, 2023 from Contributor 51522237 is for this Clarence's grandfather:
Alexander M. McPhail married Jennet Drummond in Scotland and both are buried in Scotland which are grandparents to William, Edward, Clarence, Allie.
Alexander M. McPhail born 1801 died 1884 had Donald McPhail Sr. (my great great grandfather) and his brothers John, Alexander, Duncan, and George also came to America and also settled near him; John died in McPherson, Alexander in Kansas City, and Duncan in McPherson and George in Assaria. Alexander married Julia Fairchild McPhail and had as many as 9 children.
-----
Mr Alexanders' tombstone has 4 people engraved on it. I believe 2 are his children because of the dates. 3 graves are already (children) assigned to the McPhails on this site. According to Alexanders obituary there are 4 more children including a daughter in law. I cannot find anything about Allie but if you could look into adding Clarence, Edward (Eddie) and William?

Those siblings listed are children of Alexander and Julia Fairchild McPhail
