Funeral services were held at New Bethel for Mrs. Janie Stacey, 85, years of age, whom died Saturday night at 10:30 on Aug. 04, 1951, at the home of her daughter, Mrs Huey Wells in the New Bethel community. Mrs. Credille had been ill for some time. In the fall of 1950 she suffered paralytic strokes, that and other complications caused her death. She was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church and her funeral was held there on Sunday afternoon at one o'clock, conducted by Rev. C. L. Ivy and the Rev. Jeff Cook.
The deceased is survived by one son, W. A. Credille, one daughter, Mrs. Huey Wells; four sisters, Mrs Billie Shook, Mrs. Dellie Credille, Belmont, Mrs. Carrie Allen, Dennis, Rt. 1, Mrs. Alfie (Alpha) Henley, New Bethel, and one brother, Mr. Virgle Stacey, New Bethel. Burial was in the New Bethel Cemetery
She was preceded by her husband, Willis Burley Credille on May 09, 1936.
