BOGALUSA - The funeral service for Mrs. Betty Louise King, 51, will be held at 3:30 p.m. today in the Brown - McGhee Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Thomas Cemetery at Thomas.
Mrs. King, who died Tuesday at her residence in Bogalusa, is survived by three sons, Rickey O'Brien, Raymond O'Brien and Randell O'Brien, all of North Carolina; a daughter, Marlynn Delancey; her mother, Mary Helen Thomas Guidroz of Picayune; a brother, George Thomas of Picayune; five sister, Shirley Gilmore of Picayune, Margie Doughtie of French Settlement, Maude Laudine Orgeron of LaRose, Linda Talbot of Luling and Hazel Doucet of Cutoff; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by a daughter, Mildred Seal O'Brien, and her father, Porter L. Thomas.
Visation was held yesterday at the funeral home from 5 until 10 p.m. and continued today at 8 a.m. until time of final service.
