ANDERSON - Felix Eugene Murphy, 78, of Route 12, Whitehall Road, died Aug. 11, 1989, at Anderson Health Care Center.
He retired as a carpenter from Cromer and Sullivan Construction Co. after 32 years of service. He was of the Holiness faith.
Surviving are a son, James Thomas Murphy of Anderson; a daughter, Becky Pearson of Anderson; three sisters, Berdie Cagle and Sallie Mae Willmaker, both of Greenville, and Vennie Richey of Atlanta, Ga.
Services: 2 p.m. Sunday at The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel, Anderson, with burial in Sandy Springs Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of James T. Murphy, 605 Winston Drive, Anderson.
