Howard W. Thomas, 83, formerly of Leesport, died Tuesday in the Hershey Medical Center, where he was a patient two days.
Prior to being admitted to the hospital, he was a guest at the Alpine, Hershey, for several years.
Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Nelson and Mary R. (Weisner) Thomas.
Prior to retiring he was employed by American Telephone and Telegraph.
Surviving are his wife, Natalie (Humphrey) Thomas, also a guest at the Alpine; two sons: Howard F., Washington, D.C. and Richard, Omaha, Neb., and two daughters; Dorothy, Washington, D.C. and Mrs. Marjorie Landry, Palm City, Fla., and a half brother, Nicholas F. W. Moser, Lancaster.
The Hoover Funeral Home, Hershey is in charge of arrangements.
