Hulda India Potter Cox.

Mrs. Hulda Inida COX, wife of Asa H. Cox, died December 26th, at 9:30 a.m. at her home in Cement, Okla. Pneumonia being the cause of her death, the illness lasting but one week.

Mrs. Cox was born at Harper, Kans., March 5, 1898. She received her common school education at Star Center school and was converted Jan. 2, 1910 and joined the First M.E. church.

In 1914, Mrs. Cox moved with her parents to Stillwater, Okla., where she attended the A. & M. college there and graduated from this college in 1920. She was married to Mr. Asa H. Cox, July 26, 1920 at Guthrie, Okla., and moved to Cement four years ago. Two children were born to this union, Frank Oliver, 7 and Mary Belle 5. Besides her husband and two children she leaves her father, three brothers, and two sisters, to mourn her loss. They are: Mr. O.A. POTTER, of Harper, Kans., Venie of Tulsa, Okla; James of Stillwater, Okla.; Cecil of Harper, Kans.; Mrs. Gay FELKEL of Harper, Kans., and Mrs. Eva May PIERSON of Pondcreek, Okla.

Funeral services were held at her home in Cement at 9:00 Thursday morning, Dec. 27th, conducted by Rev. A.L. Barrett, and burial was made at Guthrie, Okla. She was a devoted mother, a loving wife, and a good friend. We shall miss her daily presence, but she has gone where no pain and sorrow ever come and we know she is at rest and peace with God.

Mrs. Asa Cox.

Friends of Mrs. Asa COX of Cement, Okla., were shocked to hear of her death a week ago Wednesday. She was sick with the flu just a few days. She was married eight years ago and leaves two children, one boy seven years old and a girl five years, two sisters, three brothers, her father, A.O. POTTER and a host of other relatives and friends. She was better known as Hulda Potter, one sister being Mrs. Gay FLEKEL of Harper. Her mother preceded her in death twelve years ago.
