Betty Jean Mullens Zampikos, 77, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2005. Betty was a professional educator and a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and the Delphi Club. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Betty loved her family very much and will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Mitchell George Zampikos; her son George Zampikos (Rachel), daughter Diana Zampikos, cousin, Tom Copeland, grandchildren Nicole Zampikos, Michael Zampikos, Elizabeth Zampikos; great-granddaughter Izzabella Zampikos; and her sister, Peggy Likins (Jimmy) all of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Home with a Trisagion Service at 7:00 p.m. that evening,

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 9, 2005 at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Betty Zampikos Memorial Fund c/o St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 502 S. Chaparral St. Corpus Christi, Texas 78401.
