Jesse H. Adams died Sunday, May 28, 1978, at Baton Rouge General Hospital. He was 57, a native of Creal Springs, Ill., and a resident of Baton Rouge. He was a retired automotive body shop foreman and a veteran of World War II.

Body at Hollabaugh-Spindle's Wooddale Memorial Chapel, with religious services conducted by the Rev. Henry Bowdon, Jr. Burial in Youngs Cemetery, the Plains.

Survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruth Higginbotham Adams of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Mrs. Marijane Maggio of Slaughter; two sons, Kenneth E. Adams of Baton Rouge, and Richard W. Adams of New Orleans; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys White and Mrs. Imogene Borum, both of Creal Springs; three brothers, Carl and Howard Adams, both of Creal springs, and Jim Adams of Marion, Ill., and one grandchild.

Preceded in death by his parents.

He was a member of the Baptist Faith.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
