Jackie Dean Houghland, 46, of Pinckneyville, entered rest at 11:35 A.M. Thursday, February 26, 1987 in Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
Born August 15, 1940 in Pinckneyville, he was the son of Bradley (supposed to be Brady) and Mary Galbraith Houghland. He married Carol Lane on February 18, 1961. He later married Eva Marie Furlow on March 22, 1986 in Christopher and she survives..
Other survivors include three daughter, Tina Huge; and Kim Corless, both of Nashville; Cheryl Houghland, Pinckneyville; one son, Jason at home; two grandchildren; his stepfather, Clifford Harrell Sr. of Pinckneyville and one half brother, Clifford Harrell Jr. of Du Quoin.
He was preceded in death by one son, Jackie Dean Jr. on December 30, 1966 and by his parents.
He had worked as a sheet metal worker for U.S. Gymnasium. He was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church and the Pinckneyville Moose Lodge.
