Dale Marie Absher, 64, of Waldorf, MD passed away at Georgetown University Hospital surrounded by her family.
Born January 13, 1944 in Marion, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Francis Cain and the late Glenn Patterson.
She moved in with her aunt and uncle in her teens where she met her husband, the love of her life, and they were married in 1963. She was the Office Manager for D&T Decorators, enjoyed arts and crafts, decorating her home, and spending time with her family, especially her two grandchildren.
She was a member of the Waldorf Christian Bowling League for the past 20 years, one of her favorite and most enjoyable activities, and would always lend a hand to help someone less fortunate than herself.
She is survived by her husband, Theodore R. "Ted" Absher, two sons, Theodore R. "Ted" Absher II of Florida and Terry (Carol) Absher of Mechanicsville, MD, two sisters, Sharon Baily and Judy Gregorec, both of Florida, and two grandchildren, Terry Absher, Jr. and Devin Absher.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8, 2008 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.
A Celebration of Life will follow on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 11am at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.
Clergy will be the Rev. Mark Roberson.
Interment will take place at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
