Joseph L. Bagley
Miles City - Joseph L. Bagley worked for the Rock Springs Grazing Service and later the Bureau of Land Management for 40 years until retiring in March 1969. HE served in the Navy during World War II and moved from Lander, Wyo., to Miles City in 1959. He was a member of VFW and Yellowstone Agate Club.
Mr. Bagley, 78, died Friday morning in Holy Rosary Hospital after a short illness.
Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, a son of Joseph V. and Cora Yeoman Bagley, he grew up in Granger, Wyo., and married Harriet Clausen.
Survivors include his wife; two sons of Soda Springs, Idaho and Bend, Ore.; a brother, Eugene of Miami Beach, Fla.; three sisters, Minerva Butler and Eleanor Blair, both of Salt Lake City, and LaVonne Foine of Newberg, Ore.; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Mount Hope Cemetery in Lander. Stevenson and Sons is in charge.
