V.C. Christiansen Dies From Cancer
Victor Clarence Christiansen of Albany, who died at St. Vincent's hospital, Portland, Friday from cancer, was buried in Green Mountain Cemetery Monday afternoon following services conducted at the Methodist Church with O.M. Whitman of Astoria preaching the sermon.
The deceased was a son of Mrs. Peter Christiansen of Rainier. He was born in Cavaur South Dakota, December 2, 1909 and resided in Rainier for a short time after arriving in Oregon in 1935. In recent years he had been employed by Hudson House in Albany.
Surviving, in addition to the Mother, are brothers and sisters, Ejnar Christiansen, Mansfield, Ohio; and Dagmar Patterson, Margaret Gage, Helen Christiansen, and Robert, all of Seattle.
Funeral arrangements were by J.O. Elbon Funeral Home.
