On Sept. 29th 1917 Wesley Harris married 22 year old Wilthemina Hartwell, in Moose Jaw, Sask., She was all so from Avonmore, Ontario.
After the Wedding they took up farming in the Tugaske area,
Their son Floyd was born at home on July 13, 1918 James moved his family to Battleford, Sask. where he leased a farm from the Hudson Bay Company, it was located on the road to Cutknife, just up the hill from the Old Battle River bridge, about two miles out of Battleford.
After Welsey's wife died in 1933, he and Floyd stayed and tried to make a go of the farm. In 1938 Welsey let the farm in Battleford go.
They moved to Vancouver, and from there they moved to Surrey, B.C., where Wesley purchased five acres on Bon Accord Road, Surrey. Wesley worked various job's with the B.C. Forestry Dept. planting trees. His son Floyd lived with him.
