Jacob Oscar Reasoner was the son of Peter Reasoner and Edith Victoria Creamer. He was the first child of ten.

His death was attributed to heart disease.

Oscar, the little five-year-old son of Peter Reasoner, living in the Second ward, died suddenly at noon yesterday. He had not been complaining and was thought to be in good health and his sudden death is attributed to heart disease. The funeral service will be held at Pleasant Hill Chapel, eight miles west of this city today, the remains to be buried in the cemetery at that place.

Died suddenly, at 12 o'clock yesterday, Oscar, the five-year old son of Peter Reasoner. He will be buried this morning at Pleasant Hill Chapel, eight miles west of the city.
