RoseAnne "RJ" Richey, 57, of Onondaga Rd., Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 18, 2010, at Community General Hospital.
RJ was born in Kittery, Maine on April 30, 1952. She was the daughter of Theodore and Rita Flaherty Ruoff. RJ earned her MBA at the University of Washington and was employed as an accountant at Channel 9 News in Syracuse. She was a member of the Syracuse Gay & Lesbian Chorus.
RJ is survived by her spouse, Catherine "Cait" Clifford who she married in 2004 in Gananoque, Ontario, Canada; her son, Peter Richey; her three beloved grandsons, Hunter, Seth and Asher Richey; her siblings, Mary Ruoff, John Ruoff, Emma Hope, Kevin Ruoff and Ted Ruoff; many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
