Margaret Steele, Ill 10 Years, Dies
Miss Margaret S. Steele, seventy-one, who lived with her sister, Mrs. Theo. S. Bransby, Lancaster, died at Lancaster General Hospital at 6:15 p.m. Friday after an illness of 10 years.
Born in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late Charles F. and Emma Silvius Steele, and a resident of the city her entire life. She was employed in the cafeteria at the YMCA for many years. She was a member of Reformed Lutheran Church.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Kurtz, Lancaster; Mrs. Jennie Baker, Lancaster; and Ruth C., wife of Theo. S. Bransby.
Strictly private funeral services will be held from the Young Funeral Home, 317 East Orange Street, Monday at 2 p.m. Reverend Herbert Hohman, Pastor of the Redeemer Lutheran Church will officiate. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. There will be no viewing Sunday evening.
