Other survivors are a brother, Claude of Kingman; and two sisters, Mrs. Grace Newnum of Kingman and Mrs. Irene Delp of Marshall Route 1. He was preceded in death by two sisters.
He had worked as a painter and decorator and was a life member of Painters Union Local 460 in Hammond. He retired in 1944 and moved to Kingman from Hammond. He was a member of Wolfe Creek Community Church south of Wallace.
Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wolfe Creek Community Church with the Rev. Kenneth Brock officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery." – Covington Friend, Covington, Indiana, April 1973
