Angeline A. (Sindoni) Lamanna, 79, of Syracuse, died Thursday in State University Hospital after a long illness. A life resident, she was a communicant of Our Lady of Pompei Church. She had been employed by Key Bank in Syracuse for many years. She was a member of the Pompei Senior Citizens, the Holy Trinity Seniors, and the Canton Woods Senior Center. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Anthony Lamanna; two daughters, Janice Harvey, of Liverpool, Gloria C. Lamanna, of Syracuse; a son, Joseph A. (Shelly) Lamanna, of Rochester, NY; four grandchildren, Jessica Harvey, of San Diego, Ryan Harvey, of Syracuse, Kara and Nicholas Lamanna, of Rochester, NY; two brothers, Joseph and Paul Sindoni, both of Syracuse; four sisters, Josephine Nicoletti, Genevieve Vavonese, Santina Sindoni, and Antoinette Pitonzo, all of Syracuse; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 9:45 a.m. Saturday in the Pirro & Sons Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Pompei Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, 514 Turtle St., Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Contributions may be made to Our Lady of Pompei Church or the SUNY HSC Foundation Cancer Research Fund c/o Jonathan Wright, M.D., 750 E. Adams St., Syracuse, N.Y. 13210.
