Clyde Andrew Barrows, 75, died in Eugene. He was a native of Merrill, Oregon, born Jan. 20, 1897 to pioneer parents the late Mr. and Mrs. T.A. Barrows.
On Jan 24, 1918, he married Rose L. Zlabek, daughter of one of the first Czech fammilis to come to the Merrill-Malin area.
Mr. Barrows was a retired farmer and had lived in the Coburg area since 1933, and was a member of the West Point Grange.
He is survived by the widow, Rose, two daughters, Mrs. Marie Warden of Veneta and mrs. Lucile Riegelman of Eugne; son, Robert of Tulelake; brother T.A. Barrows, Adin, Calif; also 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in the cahpel of Murphy Fuenral Homes with interment at the Alford Cemetery in Harrisburg.
