Cordelia was the daughter of John Kelley who was born in 1818 in Tennessee and Lavania Lanah Elder (Lanah) Kelley born in 1829 in Tennessee.
When they moved to Houston County in the 1880's the Kelly's came as well. Many lived in the Latexo area and my dad often spoke of them. Joseph Warren Neeley, died the year he moved to Houston County, she remarried soon after to a E. M. Moorehead and died a couple of years later giving birth. Cordelia & E.M. had a daughter Margaret Morehead McQueen, (John & Phillips 1/2 sister). E. M. Moorehead is buried near Houston Co. Lake.
