Victor was born in Warren Co., TN and moved around with his family until they all finally settled in Nida, OK . He worked on the family farm and helped in the store there before coming with his mother, sister Della and brother Barney to join his oldest brother Claud in the Bellview area of Curry County, NM . Sometime before 1930 he moved to Quemado, NM and homesteaded there. He became ill and returned to the Bellview home of his brother Barney and family where he later died. He never married.
