Mrs. Anna Abbott 88, who formerly resided with Mrs. Vera Hutchinson, 7 Elm Street in this village died yesterday, following a long illness at the Otselic Valley Nursing Home in Cincinnatus. Mrs. Abbott was born in Taylor on June 28, 1871, the daughter of Eben and Jane Oliver Bush. She was the widow of Kenneth Abbott, who died June 15, 1928 and spent the major portion of her life in Cortland County. She was a member of the Homer Baptist Church. The deceased is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clayton Fisk of McGraw and Mrs. Gayle Potter of Cincinnatus, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Surviving also are three sisters, Mrs. Harry Abbott of Locke, Mrs Lettie Dennison of Truxton and Mrs. Bessie Barrows of McDonough, one brother, John Bush of Binghamton and several nieces and nephews.
