Daughter of Judge J.D. and Mrs. Mary J. Field. She lived at Washington, Arkansas until grown and in her early girlhood joined the M.E. church South. She was united in marriage with Dr. J.J. Grinstead, a surgeon in the confederate army. In 1886 they came to Keytesville, Missouri and for 44 continious years Mrs. Grinstead resided at her home in the west part of town. For many years Mrs. Grinstead was organist and a teacher in the Sunday Schol of the Methodist Church in Keytesville. Funeral services were held Saturday afternon, December 17, 1910 at the Methodist Church with Rev. J.A. Snarr preaching the funeral service.
