Reinhold Behnke, 28, died at the home of his mother, Mrs Henry Behnke, at Ableman, Saturday, July 25, 1925. He was born in the town of Excelsior, March 5, 1897.

He grew up on the home farm, until five years ago, when the family moved to Ableman. He was of a quiet disposition, working at various places and was highly estemed by all with whom he came into contact. He took sick Drecember 28 and came home, where he was tenderly cared for by his mother and where all possible medical aid was rendered. Mr Behnke had been ill for several months.

Bsides his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Walter and Arthus; and two sisters, Mrs W C Holtz, Jr and Mrs Hugo Schroeder.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the home and from the Lutheran church, the Rev F P Popp officiating and conducting the singing by the choir. The church was crowded by relatives and friends to pay a final tribute to the deceased. Many beatuful flowers and a united feeling of deep regret show the sorrow of the many who attended.
