The Reverend Theiss was a son of John George Theiss (1861 – 1931) and Magdalena M "Lena" Bahls (1864 – 1943). In June, 1917 George attended Concordia Seminary in St Louis, Missouri starting 5 Jun 1917. He was a student of Theology. Theology is the study of a god or the study of religious faith, practice, and experience, or of spirituality. Theology belongs in institutions Higher Education primarily as a form of professional training for Christian Ministry.
