Funeral for Joseph C. Aldridge, 89, of Decatur will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Manly officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 5 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Aldridge died Monday at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Feb. 19, 1905, in Decatur and was a member of Southwest Baptist Church. He was retired from the Alabama Highway Department. Memorials may be made to the Decatur General Hospital Oncology Center.

He is survived by his wife, Novie Aldridge; one son, James E. Aldridge of Trinity; two sisters, Ruth Hames of Decatur and Martha Little of Montgomery; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be the adult men's Sunday school class at Southwest Baptist Church.
