Johnny'ee L. Barney II, 25, died Oct. 28, 2006, in Anchorage.
A service will be at 2 p.m., with visitation 1-2 p.m. Thursday at St. Anthony's Parish. Pallbearers will be Vincent Barney, Brian Pickard, Justin Judd, Anthony Harps, Brian Berkbigler and Jeffrey Graham. Honorary pallbearers are Eddie Berkley II, Gerome McCaskill II and Earl Douglas. A reception will be after the service.
Mr. Barney was born March 18, 1981, in Anchorage. A graduate of Bartlett High School, he was employed at Furniture Enterprise of Alaska as a delivery driver.
Family wrote: "Johnny'ee loved four-wheeling, camping, snowboarding, but most of all he loved raising his two daughters, Payton 'Charlie,' age 5, and Paige Cameron, age 3. Johnny'ee was loved deeply by all who knew him."
Mr. Barney was preceded in death by his father, Johnny'ee Barney; and maternal and paternal grandparents, Eddie and Charlie Mae Berkley and Lester and Leahler Mae Barney.
He is survived by his mother, Doris McCoy; stepfather, Mitchell McCoy; brother; Vincent Barney; stepbrother, Mitchell McCoy II; aunts, Ellen Johnson, Donna McCaskill, Janis Barney and Barbara Ann Toran; uncles, Darryl, Eddie II and Ervin Berkley, and Luther and Joel Barney; and many great-aunts, -uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an account for the benefit of his daughters, in care of Doris McCoy, account 1295225, Alaska USA Federal Credit Union.
