Durlyn M. Thompson passed away Monday, April 26, 2010 in Texas City, Texas. She was born in Long Beach , California on February 10, 1941 to Douglas and Bessie Farmer. Durlyn was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Douglas B. Jr. and Hugh Farmer. She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly and husband Wess Jackson, Katherine Killen, and Kristina Bryant; five grandchildren, Trevor, Ronald, Jerry, Victoria, and Ginger; and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her two brothers, Roger and Andrew Farmer; and two special aunts, Gloria and Joyce Amato.
Durlyn was a great Nanny who loved the beaches and lakes.
A Memorial Service will be held at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson on Friday, April 30, 2010 at 700 p.m.
