She was the daughter of the late Robert L. & Mildred Funt Sanders. Her husband GEORGE H GANTZ died in 1990. She is survived by 3 sons, Frederick A. Gantz & Donald A. Gantz both of Gettysburg & Shawn Gantz of Pittsburg, 6 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by one son, ROBERT GANTZ who died in Sept. 2000 of a massive heart attack.
She was employed in the Clerk of Courts & Treasurers office of the Adams County Courthouse for 30 years. She was a life member of the Adams County Republican Party & a member of the Adams County Council of Republican WOmen, National Federation of Republican Women, and the Barlow Fire Company Auxiliary. She was active in Cub Scouts for many years. She served more than 100 children as a foster parent for more than 30 years (one of which she adopted)
Cause of death - complications from a car accident in June of which she never recovered.
