"SERVICES HELD SATURDAY FOR AUNT KATE ENGLAND
"Funeral services were held for Mrs. Kate England at the First Baptist Church of Minco at 2:30 p.m. Saturday Sept. 21. Rev. Luther Berry, officiating with Rev. Dick Akers, Rev. Clyde Ventris assisting....
"Pallbearers were grandsons of the deceased: Howard Eisenhour, Charles Eisenhour, Lloyd Eisenhour, Richard R. Lindsay, James Lindsay, J. T. Newman.
"Harold and Bill Eisenhour, grandsons from the Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard had charge of the services.
"Kate (Cutright) England, daughter of Nebo and Sophia Cutright was born February 17, 1873, in Hinklesville, West Virginia, and departed this life September 19, 1957 at the age of 84 years 7 months and 2 days, at her home in Minco after a lengthy illness.
"In her early life she came to Minco to live with her sister, Mrs. Nannie Berry. In 1900 she went back to West Virginia where she met and married Charles Snyder in January, 1901. To this union four children were born: Bernice, Stella Mae, Mildred and Richard. Stella Mae died at the age of 9 months.
"In 1907 they came to Oklahoma, settling at Yukon. Mr. Snyder passed away in 1911. In 1913 she met and married John England and moved to Minco where she has resided since that time. Mr. England passed away in 1939.
"She became a christian at an early age and is a member of the Methodist Church in Minco.
"She leaves to mourn her passing her three children: Mrs. George Eisenhour, Minco; Mrs Jack Lindsay, Sherman, Texas; Richard Snyder, San Pedro, California; one sister, Mrs. Nannie Berry, Cleveland, Okla., 9 grand children; 7 great grandchildren, 6 step children, Jess Snyder, Norman, Roy Englad, West Palm Beach, Fla., Charlie England, Houston, Tex., Mrs. Anna Plum, Houston, Tex., Mrs. Carl Quinn, Clebern, Tex., and Mrs. M. J. Wallace, Edmond and a host of other relatives and friends.
"Aunt Kate as she was known to all her many friends, was laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery of Minco by the side of her Mother who passed on at her home in Minco in 1917."
