Mrs. Sallie Ann Alexander of 418 North Moulton died last night at her home. Born July 29 1891, in Randolph County, she had spent her entire life here. Her parents were James Kanatzar and Amanda Patrick Kanatzar. She was a member of the First Christian Church. The Alexander's marked their 57th wedding anniversary April 3. surviving are the husband, Mose; two daughters, Mrs. Other Kellogg, 602 Taylor, and Mrs. Odis Hendren, 1717 South Morely; one son Mose James Alexander, 514 Franklin Avenue; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one uncle, Robert Lee Kanatzar, of the home; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Ed Callicotte, Jackson, Mich. Three children preceded her in death. The body is at the Mahan Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Christian Church with Rev. Toney Conley Jr., in charge. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 7 p.m. today.
