HAMPTON - Eva Belle Davis Murray, 97, died Monday, Oct. 6, 1997, at her residence.
She was the widow of Paul A. Murray and a resident of the Peninsula for over 58 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Langley Baptist Church in Hampton.
She was preceded in death by her four children, Edward D. Davis, Ray C. Davis, Dennitte M. Davis and Betty June Coblentz. She is survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and a longtime companion and friend, Charles R. Wilson of Hampton.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at Langley Baptist Church by the Rev. Roland Bugg. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Lawrence B. Wood Funeral Home this evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 303 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, Va. 23666

She was also the widow of Dewey Rodrick Davis who was the father of her children.

Aunt Eva was a spectacular woman!
