David Willis Cammock was born in Klein, Musselshell County , Montana on 16 Jun 1915, he died two days later on the 18th. David was the first child of his parents David, Jr. (33) and Elma Melissa (Derrick) (19) Cammock. David and Elma were married about two years earlier in Kirby, Josephine County, Oregon, on 23 Feb 1913. David immigrated from Scotland as a young boy and Elma was born in Oregon .

His cousin Elizabeth Cammock was born in Klein, Musselshell County , Montana on 22 Aug 1913, she died 13 months later on 23 Sep 1914. Elizabeth was the second child of her parents, William (34) and Sarah "Betty" (Allen) (27) Cammock. William immigrated from Scotland as a young boy and Sarah was born in Illinois .

William and David, Jr. Cammock were brothers. Both families located in Klein about 1911. William and David were probably employed as either farmers or coal miners. Both families had to work hard for a living and had little in which to support themselves, and both suffered a loss of an infant while at Klein. David and Elma moved from Klein shortly after the death of their first born, David; moving to Alberta , Canada , where their second child was born, who carried the names of his older, deceased brother, Willis David Cammock, born 25 Jun 1921.

William and Sarah had two more childred while living in Klein. About 1920, they moved to Gebo, Hot Springs County , Wyoming .

Both David and Elizabeth were buried in United Mine Workes of America Cemeter ( Old Miners Cemetery ) at Klein. In May 2011, the cemetery was searched for the headstones of each. David's grave could not be located and an old grave marker with little more than " Elizabeth " was located.
