Lillian W. Lange, age 89, died early this morning, March 26, 1982 at the Jefferson Meadows Care Center.

She was born November 30, 1892 in Peshtigo, the daughter of Friedrick and Augusta Bleek Lange, She married Melvin Lange, December 16, 1919, he died December 27, 1973.

She served as a nurses aide for 15 years at the old St. Mary's Hospital, retiring at the age of 72.

Survivors include six sons, Stuart, Kendall, Melvin, Jr., Milton and Donald, and Evan; four daughters, Arvona Boye, Marjorie Fish, Allene Gibbons, Carol McIntyre; two brothers, William Lange, Herman Lange; 24 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, one grandson and one granddaughter.

Funeral servies were held March 29, 1982 at the Hanson-Mooney Funeral Home. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery, North Freedom.
