Husband of Mary Amelia Snyder(Bowen). The son of Robert MCClure Snyder and Frances Morris Snyder(Hord). His wife and .half-brothers, Leroy and Kenneth and one of his sons, Frederick Perry, are buried in plot with him beside his famous father, Robert, Sr. He finished building Ha Ha Tonka, the Ozarks castle that his father began. He amassed a 1400 book library that is in the Miller Nichols Library Special Collections in UMKC. His likeness was used by Thomas Hart Benton in a mural in the State Capitol building. His other children are Edward Leroy, William Kenneth and Robert Mcclure Snyder III.
