JOHN A. EDGAR
Funeral services for John A. Edgar, 79, who died at the home of his son, Coral Edgar in Newberry, Jan. 31 were held from the Beaulieu Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 3, at 2 p.m. Rev. R. A. Garrison, of the Presbyterian church in that city officiated.
Mr. Edgar was born in Harrisville, Mich., and had made his home with his son in Newberry for the past five years.
Surviving is a son, Ardie Edgar, of Manchester, Mich.; a daughter, Mrs. Annabelle Slais, and a son, Coral Edgar, both of Newberry; one sister, Mrs. Ellen Pearson, of Detroit, and 17 grandchildren.
Out-of-town relatives attending the services were Mrs. Anna Nichol, Harrisville, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. Ardie Edgar, Manchester, Michigan and Wm. Stoff, of Flint, Mich.
