Mrs. Julia Carolan, Irwin, died Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. at the Little Sisters Home of the Aged, Pittsburgh, Pa. She was at the home for about a year. She was born May 7, 1867, at Castletown, Navan, Ireland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Carolan.
Only survivor is a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Elvina Carolan, Irwin.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin, and the Altar Society of the church.
Friends will be received at the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Carolan, 709 Pine street, Irwin, until 9 a.m. Saturday. Requiem mass at Immaculate Conception church, Irwin at 10 a.m. with Father James Hanlon. Interment in Irwin Catholic Cemetery.
