Burial Tuesday, in Jewett Cemetery, Jewett
He was born Jan. 2, 1924, in Jewett, the son of Oscar Luther and Ruth I. Trostle Wellbaum. He married Martha Galloway in 1947, she survives. Other survivors include son, Brad; four brothers, John, Lowell, Carl, and George; three sisters, Virginia Titus, Lenora Quick, and Diana Lewis; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter; and one brother.
Mr. Wellbaum was a heavy equipment operator for Local Union 841.
