Rosetta Pullum Greer, 99, of Luther Gooch Road, Kings Mountain, died Saturday, Nov. 26 at the Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford.

A native of Lincoln Co., she was born Aug. 30, 1906 to the late William Riley and Angeline (Stull) Pullum.


She married George Albert Greer, May 16, 1925.


She was a homemaker, the oldest living member of the Pleasant Point Baptist Church having joined in 1920, and widow of George Albert Greer.


She was also preceded in death by two grandsons, Ronnie Napier and David Greer; and a sister, Alma Delk.

Survivors include three sons
Marvin Greer of Elsmere,
Herman Greer of Kings Mountain,
Hubert Greer of Hermitage, AR.

Three daughters,

Gladys Marie Clarkson
of Waynesburg,Ky
Lorena Napier of Kings Mountain,
Ethel Irene Eads of Covington

Four sisters,
Ada Snow of Kings Mountain
Bessie Lay of Georgia
Effie Jones of Michigan
Martha Jones of Ohio


19 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 29 at Fox Funeral Home with Bro. David Gambrel officiating. Burial was in K. P. Hall Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Bobby Clarkson, Jr., Marty Clarkson, Christopher Barnett, Michael Barnett, James Kocher, James Napier, David Patterson, and Wayne Greer.

Honorary pallbearer was Anthony Lee Watson

I have to say,(from experience), if she couldn't say anything nice, she said nothig at all. She was a Blessing to all that came close to her. She LOVED MANY, AND WAS LOVED BY MANY.

She was just a Wonderful Person to have known and loved.

She never cut her hair through the years, it was beautiful.
