Laiten Glen Marney

Laiten Glen Marney, 57, of Great Falls, died June 30, 1996, at his home of a heart attack.

He was born Feb. 16, 1939, in Rossville, Kansas, and attended schools there. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Malstrom Air Force Base. He also worked for the railroad company and after retiring from the military, worked for Golden Triangle Mental Health.

He married Bernadean Wells on Aug. 31, 1964. He belonged to several Great Falls civic organizations and to St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

His wife died Sept. 16, 1995, and a daughter, Vicki, also preceded him in death. His survivors include two sons; brothers, Ralph Marney of Topeka, Kans., and Dean Marney of Kansas City, Mo.; and five grandchildren.

The funeral was at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Great Falls with burial with military honors at Highland cemetery.
