Roy E. Beckwith, age, 77, of Woodburn, died Thursday, June 2 at a hospital in Tualatin.
born March 21, 1917 at Pennanawa, Wash., he later married Alta M. Gates on March 4, 1945 at Vancouver, Wash. They made their home in Woodburn.
He owned Roy's Bicycle Shop in Woodburn, was a member of the Christian Church, and the Woodburn Masonic Lodge #106A. F. and A. M.
He enjoyed building and repairing bicycles as well as traveling.
In addition to his wife Alta, he is survived by his sister Elsie Whitesel of Lewiston, Idaho.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 6 at the Woodburn Christian Church. Mausoleum entombment was at Belle Passi Memorial Mausoleum, Woodburn.
