JERALD DAYTON DEAREN, 67, of Horn Lake, Miss., retired Navy veteran, died Monday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven of injuries received in an automobile accident. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel with burial in West Union Cemetery there. He was a World War II veteran, a member of Grace View Presbyterian Church in Southaven and a volunteer with the Samaritans in Southaven. He leaves a son, Michael S. Dearen of Asheville, N.C.; tw o sisters, Joan Ison of Memphis and Joyce Cortese of Los Angeles; six brothers, Robert Dearen and Joseph Dearen, both of Rosemark, Harry Dearen of Millington, Don Dearen of Memphis, Alfred Dearen of Metairie, La., and Jackie Dearen of Horn Lake, and a grandchild.
