His brother is Samuel Lester Keeton.

Charles Allison Keeton, 85, of W. High St., died Saturday in City Hospital; where he had been a patient since Oct. 29. Mr. Keeton had lived in Springfield most of his life. A retired electric utility lineman, he had helped install the trolley lines of the old interurban electric railways from Springfield to Dayton and Springfield to Toledo. He was born in Gallipolis May 6, 1867, a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Tazwell Keeton. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bessie Shields of Burlingame, Calif., and Mrs. Mildred Powers of Springfield; two grandsons, Elbert F. and C. Frederic Althouse of Springfield; one granddaughter, Mrs. Mildred Welch of West Dearborn, Mich and 10 great-grandchildren. He was a member of the First Church of the Brethren. Burial in Ferncliff Cemetery.
