Dorsey F. Decker served as a Sergeant in the 450th Specialized Pilot Training Squadron, United States Army Air Corps during World War II.
He was a son of Joseph Albert Decker and Olive Della (Chronister) Decker.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps on March 11, 1942 at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He was assigned to Hendricks Field at Sebring, Florida for his training.
He died in the crash of a B-17 Flying Fortress while on a training flight at Ft. Worth, Texas on January 13, 1944.
He was only 24 years of age.
He was originally from Tyrone, Pennsylvania.
