John 'Jack' Replogle Baker Village at Morrison's Cove
John "Jack" Replogle Baker, 80, of the Village at Morrison's Cove, formerly of 100 Blatenberger St., Martinsburg, died March 29, 2010 at the Bon Secours Altoona Campus. He was born on June 30, 1929 in Waterside, the son of the late Samuel E. and Wilma (Replogle) Baker. He married Joann Stiffler on June 25, 1949, who died March 13, 1983, then married Mary L. Smith. Jack was a member of the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren. He was a farmer, and a co-owner of the Baker's 3 Restaurant and Cover Lumber in Centerville. He was a graduate of Replogle High School and Nashville Auto, Diesel in 1949. He enjoyed woodworking and reading. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, three sons; step-children; two sisters: brother; 11 grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 12 step-great-grandchildren.
