Founder and owner of radio stations Wrix FM, Wrix AM and Wans AM.Former owner of WCCP AM in Clemson,SC.The Matt and Bev show was the most listen to morning talk show in up- state South Carolina.People from three southern states would call in live and discuss what was in the news or just any topic that was interesting.Mr.Phillips died of heart failure.His wife Jennette Phillips died a few months later and is buried beside him.Daughter, Karen Small now owns and operates the three radio stations.Bio by former Wrix dee-jay,Jimmy Gilstrap
