Ray Lavern was married to Maxine Hinson August 14, 1971. He departed this life February 17, 1983. Love one's he leave behind: His wife, Mrs. Maxine Hinson Tyson of Kansas City, Kansas. His father Mr. Franklin Tyson of Rodessa, LA., Five sons: Ray Lavern Tyson, Jr. and Ivan Raynard Tyson of Kansas City, Mo., Charles Ray Avery of Seattle, WA., Michael Ray Stroy of Vivian, LA., and Ivory Lee Jackson of Shreveport, LA. Two daughters: Toni Lynn Tyson of Grandview, MO. and Maschon Arrington of Kansas City, KS. Two brothers: Prince E. Tyson of Saginaw, MI. and Charles E. Tyson of Kansas City, MO. Five sisters: Bonnie Lyles of Washington, D.C., LaJoyce Miller of Southfield, MI., Jurlean Tyson, Dorothy Nelson and NaDean Douglas all of Rodessa, LA. Ray was a milkman. He delivered milk to homes and business locations under the Foremost Brand for over 21 years. He purchased his own truck and milk directly from the dairy. He was ahead of the game in terms of being an entrepreneur.
