Phillip Arthur Adams born July 18, 1939 in Kansas City, MO. Died May 10, 2007 in San Antonio, Tx. served in the military: US Army, 1957-1965. He is survived by; his wife of 45 years, Lupe Adams; two sons, Phillip John Adams of Morgan Hill, CA and Terrill Carl Adams of San Antonio; a daughter, Theresa Suzanne Saldana, also of San Antonio; tow sisters, Arlene Davenport of Dallas and Judy Greil of Tucson, Ariz.; and 6 grandchildren. Service on May 14, 2007 at 10am at Cormerstone Chapel at 18755 Stone Oak, with Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.
He was 67, died Thursday from complications of a heart attack, started a company, Jointech Inc. in California in 1986. His father, the late Arthur Adams, was responsible for the dowel crafter, considered to be the world's first patented "self aligning doweling jig.: according to the Jointech web site. But Phillip decided to move his company and family to the San Antonio are after the devastation of the 1989 earthquake in Northern Cal., Texas was selected becasue his wife Lupe was from San Antonio, and Phillip had been stationed at Fort Sam Houston, he loved it in Texas.
