Doing what they loved to do and being with their families early in the morning of Tuesday, July 18, 1978 when the two
Sudweeks' brothers were vacationing at Rockport Resevoir and had set out for a few hours of fishing. This vacation was never completed and the two brothers were taken from their families by a tragic drowning accident.
Joint funeral services were held for Carlos Jay and Ralph Sudweeks on Friday, Jul 21, 1978 at Riverside Stake Center.
In addition to Jay's wife (Alva) and children-Barbara Frame, Karen White, Mary Little, Brent, & Cindy he is survived by his mother, LeNora four sisters-Mrs. Oneita Messina, Roselle, New Jersey, Mrs. Leola Pettersson, Salt Lake City, Mrs. Bonnie Butler, Levan, Utah, & Mrs. Jean Conover, Holiday, Florida.
