James Thomas Brackett, 67, of Chattanooga, died Dec. 15, 2006, at a local health care facility. He was formerly of Englewood, Tenn., and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Surviving relatives; daughter, Michelle (Hank) Swanson, of Chickmauga, GA; brother, Harold (Beverly) Brackett, of Texas City, TX; sister, Shirley (Bill) Brackett Land, of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Jessica and Heather Swanson; nieces, Wendy (Rick) Williams, of Chattanooga, and Sherry Jean (Matt) Saunders, of Plano, TX; nephew, Martin Brackett, of Santa Clara, CA.
Memorial services at Fairview Primitive Baptist Church. Private interment will be held at the Christenburg Cemetery in Sweetwater, Tenn.
